(More customer reviews)Before I made my trip out to Afghanistan, I went out to get a new timepiece that would be hardy enough to last the duration of the trip.My criteria for watches is relatively simple and straightforward: It has to be small and streamlined (not a big fan of wearing clocks on my wrist), solid in build, and the interface has to be just so.
A trip out to the PX managed to find this watch for $25.00, and I have to say, I was hooked from the start.The backlight, when turned on, only lights up the numbers themselves, not the entire watch face.This makes for a very easily-read time/date/timer/etc.Setting the time and alarms is equally simplistic, and very intuitive.
That was two years ago.
And the only reason I came to Amazon seeking a replacement for that watch was that after two years of near continuous wear, the band started to crumble.
Fortunately, the merchant here at Amazon, Famous Brand Watches, has an excellent level of customer service.I ordered the watch and had it in my possession three days later.What's more, they'd actually had the time set for me when it arrived.Talk about service!
