He likes really nice watches like tag and movado but bulova was offering the copper face which he saw previously in a magazine and commented on. The watch is even more beautiful in person. A super neat feature is that when you look under the watch on the part against the wrist you can see all inside of it at the actual workings of it. He wears this watch every day. It is a nice size and is stunning on. He LOVES it. As far as the quaility, well, it's a bulova. It should work just fine.
