However, looking at it close up, you can definitely see that it's built on a budget. The rubber inserts on the bracelet could be better molded, but it's a thing you'll only notice if you're looking for it.
The bracelet has a very nice pewter finish. This isn't a watch that you wear while working on the car, the pewter finish can scratch off if it gets knocked around sharp metal. Underneath the finish, the bracelet is made of copper. I haven't had any issues with discolouration of the skin, but the band can go all multicolor on the inside where it touches the skin. Not a big deal, and it only really happens when you're perspiring. In short, don't wear it on your wrist while biking across town.
It's a very big watch, much bigger than I thought it'd be. I've gotten used to the size now, and it still looks quite impressive. Excellent value, all in all.
