The first one I purchased at a brick & mortar store, on sale, with a friend's associate discount, for about 75% more than the Amazon price. Talk about some serious markup. I'd been looking for a black- or blue-faced watch WITHOUT night-glow on the hands, and this piece was exactly that. It doesn't have a backlight, so it's not easy to read in pitch black darkness, but then again, how often do you really need to? I had to remove several links, as expected, to fit my wrist... it's rather thin.
My first identical piece had a fairly "stiff" band that still flexed easily. This one seems to be slightly more "jingly", if that makes any sense. If you're a mechanic or work with your hands a lot, be sure to take the piece of before doing so. It's easy to eventually ding up the silver portions of the band and scratch off the black portions (baked enamel, perhaps?).
Still, a VERY nice piece. I receive compliments and questions about it on a weekly basis. Several time I've been asked if I collect timepieces because of it. Go figure.
