(More customer reviews)I bought this for my Vicks thermometer. This golden tip thermometer consumes too much battery but gives a reading in 6-8 seconds. So I had to buy the CR1225 3 Volt lithium battery. But as soon I placed it in the thermometer, it was giving low battery signal. So it is either fake or used.
