(More customer reviews)I use this watch when surfing and teaching surfing, so basically outside, in the sun.I have no problems reading the red display under those conditions.I see how it could be harder to read in dim light (particularly the small lettering for the day of the week), but there is a button for the light which takes care of that.The features of the watch are pretty basic, and overall I'm happy with it.Freestyle makes tough watches, and they are very waterproof.I had a Lopex for a couple of years, and it was great until I tried to change the battery myself.Don't do that - it won't be waterproof once you take the back off.
For outdoor and underwater use, this watch is great.It's tough, cheap, basic and pretty cool looking.
