(More customer reviews)This is a basic Seiko gold watch.I purchased it for a specific dress occasion in which my normal watch would have been inappropriate, and it served the purpose admirably.As expected for a Seiko, it keeps excellent time; only my daily-wear radio watch does better (and it is FAR better than any Swiss watch).
I'm no fan of flex straps, but for a watch that I wear perhaps twice a year I can put up with it.I've had no problem with scratches or fading; but then again this isn't my daily-wear watch (which is a lot more expensive but not "dress").
More than anything else, the price is right, especially for an infrequent-wear watch.If you want a daily-wear Seiko, you probably ought to spend somewhat more money.
Then again, a young person on a budget who wants a nice Seiko can't go wrong with this choice for a first watch.You can always replace the band.
